People respond in many ways. Some want to send clothes. Others want to go and visit. Others are prepared to make a donation

Though StreetKidsMatter does not want to discourage any of these, the truth is that the most valued help is financial.

City of Hope does not receive any public funds. It is very largely dependant upon charitable donations

City of Hope is a very professional and trustworthy organisaiton. It's priority at all times are the young people they help. No fancy offices or free trips !.
Every doller / euro / pound is made to work very hard.

You can make a donationin a number of ways :-

US Residents
Donate via the Children's Relief Network whic gets tax relief

UK Resident
Direct bank transfer to City of Hope ( please mail StreetKIdsMatter for details)

European and Other Currencies
City of Hope can receive money in Euro's or Dollars ( please mail StreetKIdsMatter for details)

VISITS
A visit to Romania is always interesting and always challenging. While it is always possible to visit, please bear in mind that a visit takes up valuable time and resources for City of Hope.

For this reason, you are requested to make first contact with StreetKidsMatter through the Feedback page of the site

Clothing etc
While there are times (emergencies) when this is needed, the fact is Romania is not short of clothing. Often it is far cheaper to buy clothing there than to transport it. Import restrictions prohibit most second-hand clothes.
